Job description:
Wilson Smith Cochran Dickerson, a Seattle civil defense litigation law firm, seeks a bright, highly motivated Associate or Of Counsel Attorney licensed in Washington with exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
Basic Requirements
- Superior analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- 3+ years of substantive litigation experience
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to the WSBA
- Proven experience in insurance coverage matters, including researching insurance coverage and drafting coverage opinions
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience litigating insurance and extra-contractual insurance matters
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- A motivated self-starter seeking increasing opportunities for professional growth and responsibility
- Ability to work as a collaborative team player who can effectively work with paralegals and assistants to ensure efficient case handling
- Unwavering commitment to the highest standards of ethics and professional integrity
- Judicial clerkship experience or prior court experience (ideal but not required)

The salary range for this position is $150k-$180k, and potentially more depending on experience, and a generous bonus opportunity.
