Associate Attorney
Wilson Smith Cochran Dickerson, a Seattle civil defense litigation law firm, seeks a bright, highly motivated Associate or Of Counsel attorney licensed in Washington with exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
Basic Requirements
- Superior analytical, written and oral communication skills
- 3-8 years of substantive litigation experience
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Excellent academic credentials
- Admitted to the WSBA
Preferred Qualifications
- Proving experience in civil defense litigation and counseling parties in a variety of pre-dispute and dispute resolution context.
- Hands-on experience with litigating insurance and extra-contractual insurance matters
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- A motivated self-starter seeking increasing opportunities for professional growth and responsibility
- Ability to work as a collaborative team player who can effectively work with paralegals and assistants to ensure efficient case handling
- Judicial clerkship experience or prior court experience (ideal but not required)
- Unwavering commitment to the highest standards of ethics and professional integrity

The salary range for this position is $125k-$150k plus a generous bonus opportunity. Also, currently included are full employer paid medical, dental, vision, life, LTD coverage, and an opportunity to join the 401k and profit plan after six months.
